CAPT 116 General Emergency Services Questionnaire Guide
This test is an online, 50-question, multiple choice test. It is designed to test your basic knowledge of CAP Emergency Services operations. By no means do you need to be an expert in order to pass the test, but you should have some basic familiarity with the procedures and terminology of ES prior to attempting the test. The test is divided into two sections. The first 25 questions cover general CAP emergency services knowledge. The second 25 questions cover the Incident Command System (ICS).
Nearly all of the tested material comes from the CAP Regulation 60-3. A couple questions toward the end of section 1 will come from CAP Regulation 173-3. I would suggest briefly reading through the 60-3 to familiarize yourself with CAP operations before attempting the test.
Questions 1-25 will mainly come from chapters 1-7 in the CAPR 60-3. They will most likely be presented in the order of the text. Questions 26-50 will come solely from chapter 8 (ICS) in the 60-3. You should have either a printed copy of the 60-3 or a second browser with the 60-3 open when taking the test.
You MAY take the test multiple times without penalty, however the system will not give you the right answers at the end, only the references to the missed material.
If you have problems or questions, please ask you cadet leaders or the ES officer (through the chain of command, of course)
